Good morning, everyone! I hope you all have had a productive summer and have had some time to relax. I'm very happy to invite you to our first PRI mentoring coffee of the year for Monday morning, August 25 at 9am. These sessions are meant to provide an opportunity for PRI postdocs and T32 trainees to get to know one another and to discuss professionalization topics that are relevant for young scholars who are starting out their careers. At our first meeting, our faculty guest will be Dr. Michelle Frisco, Professor and Head of Sociology & Criminology. We will take some time for introductions before moving on to our discussion topic for the month: work-life balance — getting stuff done while still having a life. The schedule for the year is provided below, so please add these sessions to your calendars now. We would love for you to join us in person in 314 Welch. However, for those of you who are out of town, there is a zoom option: Zoom https://psu.zoom.us/my/jxv21 Mentoring Coffee - Jenny Van Hook Aug 25, 2025 09:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Meeting ID 946 1827 8591 Passcode 362799
