Dear PRI Colleagues, The Population Research Institute will be offering a NIH Biosketch Workshop, February 4, 2025, Noon - 1:30pm, 314 Welch (with zoom option). This workshop will provide training in how to use the "Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae" system (SciENcv) to create an NIH biosketch. We will also discuss how to tailor your biosketch for PRI's upcoming center grant (P2C) renewal. Why this is important: Starting May 25, 2025, NIH will require applicants to use SciENcv to complete biosketches. SciENcv is already required by NSF. Who this affects: PRI faculty will need to create an NIH-style biosketch in SciENcv in Spring 2025 for PRI's upcoming P2C renewal application. Also, anyone listed as key personnel on any NIH or NSF proposal or funded project will need to use SciENcv. If you want to get started over the holiday break, here are instructions for creating a biosketch using SciENcv: https://guides.libraries.psu.edu/sciencv.
