Penn State Health Children’s Hospital Ninth Pediatric Research Day
|Date||05/24/18 11:00am to 5:00pm|
|Location||Hershey Lodge, Hershey|
This day is an opportunity to showcase ongoing research on children’s health issues and to identify new collaborations that will help produce tomorrow’s breakthroughs.
All Penn State researchers, physicians, residents, staff, and students who contribute to the mission of advancing pediatric research or who feel that their research may have the potential to do so are invited to submit abstracts of new work or work presented at national meetings in the past 2 years to be included in the Research Day abstract book. Accepted abstracts will be presented as a poster. Posters presented recently at local or national meetings are suitable for presentation.
Pediatric Research Day is also a fantastic networking opportunity, and we strongly encourage submissions from any Penn State campus as long as the work relates to understanding or improving child health. Basic Science and Clinical Abstracts are equally encouraged. Nurses, allied health staff, medical students, and graduate students are encouraged to contribute. Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
A Key Note Lecture will be given by Pieter Dorrestein, PhD, Director, Collaborative Mass Spectrometry Innovation Center Co-Director, Institute for Metabolomics Medicine Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences.
